Ney & Ozge

He’d asked if I wanted to have dinner out on the deck. I didn’t notice the lights, the letters, or the way his hands were shaking until we were already standing in the middle of them.
I think I asked what he was doing. He laughed, I laughed, and then he got down on one knee. Maybe he said something else — honestly, it’s all a blur.
Our friends stepped out from the shadows when we ran out of words, cheering and hugging us. The ring is beautiful — classic, simple, and it caught every bit of light from the moment he opened the box.
Now, every time I walk out onto that deck, it feels like a completely different place — like it’s holding onto that night for us.
